Here for your consideration is an amazing vintage 1950s black beaded floral tapestry evening bag. The bag is completely covered in black glass beads with the exception of the floral decoration on the front. It has a gold colored clasp and interestingly enough this particular bag has aurora borialis stones set into each of part of the clasp. It has a gold chain for a handle with a drop of 6 inches on the handle. The gold chain can be put inside the bag so the bag can be carried as a clutch. The inside is lined with black satin, there is a pocket on one side wall and above the pocket is an ironed in tag that reads Hand Made in Hong Kong. This is an exceptional little purse measuring in at 8 1/2 inches long across the bottom, 7 1/4 inches across the top, 5 1/4 inches tall. A wonderful addition to any vintage beaded purse collection.
