Teddy Bears in Canoe Dad and Baby Fishing Canadian Birch Bark Figurine


 

 

Two bears in canoes that are made of what I think is Canadian birch bark. There are two canoes and two bears--a large and a small one. Papa bear has a red checkered hat that looks glued on, and both have padded paws. The baby has a cowboy hat, and it appears that he has fallen asleep. He carries a backpack with a baby bear, too.

This figurine is about 15 inches long and 8 inches to the top of the bear's cap. It is not new, but I do not know the age. It has a wooden piece on the bottom, and has some accessories in the canoe. There is a fishing line, and a fly fishing bait that is at the large bears shoulder. I expect it was at one time connected to the line.

You get the bears figurine in the photo, and this is the only one I have like this. If you know anything about it, of course your email is welcome. It is AS IS, since I do not know if there are parts missing or not. The bear does not smell of smoke and we are smoke free here, but I bought it on the secondary market, and it smells slightly of wood and cherry, maybe.

We can ship for $10 with delivery confirmation in the US. I will be pleased to combine shipping for multiple purchases.
