We respect your hard earned feedback numbers and are happy to participate in this system.

ARTWORK Policies:

  • Second Chance Offers: First I do not divulge bidders Id as all my listings are set to private. Also new eBay procedures make it almost impossible for scammers to make Fraudulent “Second Chance” Offers. Now your bidder’s ID can only be seen by the seller of the item. I do occasionally make second chance offers. If you didn’t bid on my item to begin with, it is impossible for me to make a legitimate second chance offer, so keep that in mind.
  • Important:  I never email bidders with a private offer to sell during an auction. The latest scam involves bidders receiving “offers” from the seller while the bidding is going on. Ignore all such offers.
  • Shipping:  The automatically calculated shipping amount includes packing, and USPS Priority shipping. Insurance is extra and is required. Artwork exceeding USPS max. packaging sizes, will ship via Fedex Ground and exact cost will be available upon request. All paintings offered Worldwide. Because of outrageous overseas carrier shipping charges. I will not sell art to India, Israel, Africa, Asia or the Pacific Rim. All items shipped within 2 business days from receipt of cleared payment.
  • Returns:  Again Bid with Confidence.  If you are not satisfied with this item, let me know within 48 hours of delivery of the item, and postmark it to me within 7 days of delivery to you, and I will gladly refund your bid amount, including all initial shipping charges (not your return postage). Returned items must be unused, unaltered, undamaged, and not re-offered for sale, in identical condition/completeness as purchased. Loss of any labels, parts, literature, etc. or alterations including any varnishing, removal of varnish, cleaning or polishing voids return and refund privilege. Our items are typically found at estate sales, auctions, flea markets, thrift shops, and yard sales. Most auction houses - and even thrift shops, for that matter - will not disclose the identity of their consignor, and for that reason we are usually unable to establish a chain of ownership, or provenance. As such, unless otherwise stated, the items we sell are not “vetted,” and are unauthenticated. Unless we specify that an item is “painted by,” “signed by,” etc. we sell the item as-is, and without any warranty as to creator. If we do state that a painting is “by” a specific artist, the winning bidder – not a subsequent purchaser – has a 30-day right of rescission during which the painting can be returned on the basis of disputed authenticity. Such a claim must be accompanied by the letter of an acknowledged expert on the artist, on his letterhead stationary, which gives compelling evidence such as signature exemplars and their sources. An “acknowledged expert” on the artist would be one who has published in-print articles or books on the artist cited in the claim, and who is a member in good standing of a recognized art appraiser’s association. When we accept a valid claim, we will refund the original bid amount, but no postage amounts.

GOOD LUCK!!!!
