RCA Radiotron 280 Balloon Shape Rectifier Tube

This was tested on my Hickok 539C tube tester. This tube has been tested for shorts and gas, and has a reading of 2000/2000. Minimum is 1500.

All tubes are tested on my calibrated TV-7/B or on my calibrated Hickok 539C. All of these tubes have been tested for transconductance, shorts, gas, leakage and life. All tubes meet or exceed manufacturer published specifications of transconductance (Gm) for the specified tube type. All tests are tested twice - prior to the listing and prior to shipping.

Regarding Shipping

All tubes both boxed NOS and un-boxed are wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a box. I have shipped hundreds of tubes all over the world and have not yet had any arrive damaged.

Payment must be received with 10 days of the auction close. Foreign bidders are welcome to bid.

All tubes will be shipped by USPS priority mail in the USA and USPS air letter post for international. Priority mail shipping is $8. Insurance is extra. International shipping by air mail is $14 in most cases (larger tubes may be more). I will gladly combine auctions to save on shipping when possible.
