Splendid Metal Flower Pin with Enamel Petals, Plastic Center Costume Jewelry


Costume jewelry large metal brooch or pin pressed metal goldtone finish. It is about 3 3/8 inches long and the 5-petal flower is lightly covered with a satin finish enamel. The huge green center is satin finish plastic, and is half an orb. The metal is a goldtone, and the enamel on the leaves, where there is any, is thin green. The leaves are pressed separately from the flower, so the flower looks 3-dimensional.

This pin is not new, but is NOS or new old stock. I do not know the age, but I would say it is about 10 years old. This one is no longer on the original card, but most of the pieces I bought at this location were on cards.

This brooch has no damage, but it has a couple of slight flaws--one in the green center and one in the burgundy enameling.
