Lance Leaf Coreopsis (Coreopsis lancolota)
Lance leaf Coreopsis plant, which is
native to the eastern US and Midwest. A beautiful and useful plant
indeed! Also known as Tickseed, because the large brown seeds look
like ticks. This plant looks fabulous when planted in mass by
themselves or with others daisy-like flowers such as coneflowers.
Great xeriscape plant. The plant will come to you in a 3.5 inch
pot. Soak thoroughly before planting. Water regularly until

Description:
This plant is a clump-forming perennial has
yellow flowers with yellow centers about 1 - 2 inches in
diameter.
Will re-bloom if deadheaded. Seeds are tick
shaped hence the name Tickseed. Great for dry meadows/natural
areas.
Culture:
Sun/light shade, often found on dry infertile
soil. Drought tolerant once established. Hardy in zones 4 - 9.
Bloom time May -June.

on the premise, and never dug from the wild. All of our plants are
organically grown, non- certified. That means that all plants are
grown without chemical fertilizers and pesticides, but we are not
USDA certified like crop plants are. We place an emphasis on
wildlife habitat and are happy to answer any questions you may have
about wildlife gardens or plants. We use as much recycled material
in production of plants as possible.
Shipping pricing and policies
The price you pay for
shipping also include the price of transportation as well as
packing materials as plants must be well packed to withstand
shipping. The total cost will depend on you zip code, number of
plants to be packaged and the weight & size of the box. Please
email us with your zip code and number of plants desired for
shipping price quotes.
Prior to shipment,
all plants will be inspected, pruned, individually wrapped and
banded, then placed securely in their box. This is done to ensure
you receive quality plants. They will then be shipped via Priority
mail on the Monday or Tuesday after payment is received. This is
done to ensure they arrive quickly and safely. We reserve the right
to hold shippments in extreme weather untill plant can travel
safely.
For Atlantic County
customers, we also offer local delivery, regardless of the number
of plants delivered for a flat rate of $6.00. There are no
additional charges for non-plant items for local delivery. If you
would like local delivery, please call or email so we arrange a
time to bring your plants and/or merchandise. Someone will need to
be present to accept them. You may also pick up your order and save
S&H. Please note that 7% NJ sales tax will apply.
Native plant range and our shipping
Most of our plants
are also found native to the Midwest, however that is generally the
extent of their range. In an effort to keep our native plants
native to their natural range, we do not ship west of the Great
Plain States. This includes Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico,
Arizona, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington,
Alaska, Hawaii. If you live in these states, please do not
order.
Payment, returns, feedback
We gladly accept Paypal, Google
Checkout and POSTAL Money Orders. Please pay within 10 days of
order. We make every effort to ensure your satisfaction with your
order. However, if for some reason, you are not happy, please
notify us within 48 hours of receipt and we will work with you to
correct the problem. We may refund or replace at our option.
Sometimes a plant may get dehydrated in transit. This is not a
major problem and we will instruct you in how to correct
that.

condidtion either by feedback or email. Once we know all is well
with your order, we will leave feedback for you. If there is a
