Water regularly until established.

Description:Black Eyed Susans are a daisy-like flower, deep yellow in color, with black center cones. They grow about 3 - 4 feet high, and produce multiple blooms.

Culture:They grow in average soil with average moisture in full sun to partial shade. They can also tolerate some drought., once established. Bloom time is mid summer into early fall and they are hardy to zone 3.

Companion plants: Purple Coneflower, White Coneflower, Blazing Star, Butterflyweed

Wildlife benefit: Birds love the seeds produced in the cones. A great plant for bird gardens.

We are an Earth-friendly nursery. All plants are propagated on the premises, and never dug from the wild. All of our plants are organically grown, non- certified. We place an emphasis on wildlife habitat and are happy to answer any questions you may have about wildlife gardens or plants. We use as much recycled material in production of plants as possible.
