About the Show

12-year-old Sandy Brown used to spend a lot of time alone, having a working mother, an archeologist father traveling the globe, and occasional visits with her dear Grandma. But one day, a package sent by her long-lost grandfather 38 years ago finally arrives at her doorstep. Inside, she finds what seems like a stuffed toy koala bear, until Sandy decides to noozle their noses together and the koala comes alive! He introduces himself as Blinky, a magical koala who can make the impossible possible. His troublemaking sister Pinky shows up soon after, and from then on, Sandy's life is never boring. The three friends go on many fantastic adventures in Sandy's world as well as the koala's home world of Koalawalla Land, where Sandy must disguise herself because humans aren't allowed. With the help of her new friends, Sandy seeks to uncover the truth about her grandfather's disappearance 38 years ago, while Pinky persistently schemes out plans to make Blinky return home with her for good.

Noozles was created by Nippon Animation Company and first aired in Japan in 1984 under the name of Fushigi na Koara Burinki (The Wondrous Koala Blinky). The twenty-six episode animated series was dubbed into English and aired on Nickelodeon as part of the the Nick Jr. lineup from 1988-1993. It ran alongside Adventures of the Little Koala, another koala-themed cartoon originally made in Japan and dubbed into English for Nickelodeon, although the two storylines are unrelated.

About the DVDs

Noozles is available in a set of four DVDs containing all twenty-six episodes from the cartoon series, plus bonus material available from this web site only. Each DVD has menus with sound for easy selection of episodes, which have been conveniently put into chronological order. It also includes a professional DVD case featuring quality custom cover art and an episode list insert. The complete Noozles collection is available for the very first time on DVD from The Stuff I Like Site only.

This set comes on DVD-R, which will play on most DVD players as well as a computer with a DVD-ROM drive and appropriate DVD-viewing software. I use only genuine top quality DVD-R media from Verbatim, and occasionally Sony or TDK, for maximum quality and compatibility.

The quality is an eight to nine out of ten (see the screen capture links above for examples). This is the highest quality set available, and in fact, the only complete set available at this time. I spent months capturing, digitally restoring, and converting the series to DVD format for the first time ever. This ensures quality every time you watch, unlike VHS tapes, which deteriorate over time.

  • Credit/debit card through PayPal. (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover.) Please note that signing up for a PayPal account is NOT required if you don't wish to do so. PayPal can simply process your credit/debit card payment as a one-time secure transaction without signing up.
  • Money order. If you'd like your order shipped to an address different than your confirmed delivery address, you must pay by money order for security reasons.

Return Policy:
All discs are checked to be in perfect working condition before they are shipped, but in the unlikely event that any disc is damaged during shipping or not functioning properly, you may return the faulty disc(s) and I will replace them for free. Due to the nature of these discs (in that they can be copied relatively easily) and the fact that the price you pay is for time and materials, I do not issue refunds, only replacements.

If you do have any problems with the discs or need a replacement, I'm always available to help out and answer any questions you may have.
