Nancy Taylor Rosenberg, Lot of 2 Hardback Books, like new
condition. The first book:
FIRST OFFENSE, has 338 pages and dark and easy to read
print. In this book, Probation Officer Ann Carlisle is coping
with her husband's unsolved disappearance, and her young son's
consequent problems, the best way she knows - launching a one-woman
war on crime. But when an apparently random shooting leads to a
grisly discovery in a probationer's abandoned drug lab, Ann soon
realises that both she and her son are in deadly danger. Could the
intruder who so brutally attacks her, the source of the sinister
phone messages, be her missing husband? Or is someone trying to
frighten her out of testifying about her discovery.
In Book Two:
CALIFORNIA ANGEL, 200 pages,
Toy Johnson believes she is a good teacher,
opens her heart and pocket to the needy students in
her troubled inner city school, a devoted wife, and a
decent person---
until she is arrested as a
child stealer and murderer. So how can it be possible that
she has been arrested as a child stealer and charged with murder?
And she is helpless to defend herself with her version of events,
because it defies all the rules of logic. Childless and unfulfilled
in her marriage, Toy had been desperate to find hope for the
future, and at last her life had meaning with her 'dreams', where
she was able to save lives and heal children. But now the trial
forces those around her - those who love her and those whose lives
she has saved - to judge whether or not the seemingly impossible
can in fact be real ...
Help comes from a surprising source; the California
Angel.

Nancy Taylor Rosenburg is one of those authors, whose books you
just have to read again and again. California Angel was the first
of her books I read and this alone led me to read the rest. The
heroine, Toy is a teacher, married to a guy who is only concerned
about status. When she is arrested for murder she has to try to
prove her innocence, because her acts of heroism are committed in
dreams. Fantastically written, spellbinding from the start, and
will keep you wanting more. By the end of the book you'll just want
to give Toy a big hug and tell her you believe her. Well worth a
read.
Beautiful story......... very believable.
