MYSTERY SUBMARINE
- 1950
Set just after
the end of World War Two . MacDonald Carey stars as a U.S. Navy spy
who must rescue a man from a Nazi submarine This sub and it's
crew have refused to accept that the war is over and intend to
carry on the battle. Carey goes undercover as a Nazi and works his
way down the coast of South America to where the sub is hiding.
Several fist fights, a gun battle or two and the rescue
of a woman are needed before the nazis are put in their
place. Directed by Douglas Sirk who made some of the more
glossy soap opera films of the 50's. Rare hard to find
title.
