This great old 1940's Atlas Crystal Works Mammy Glass Snow dome/snow globe is very Rare and hard to come by,in-fact in searching the internet only one was found and it was in a private collection.
The plate on the front of it reads "Just A Little Mammy Down IN Dixie" It was made in Covington,Tenn, marked on the bottom and has three U.S. patent numbers,2361423,2361424 and 2361425,see photo. The measurements are 3 3/4"tall and 2 1/2" across the bottom. Condition is good, it has slight water evaporation(almost all older one do)and because of the way snow was created by using bone chips or sawdust when it was made they will have some cloudiness as this one does.
There are three small nibbles on the bottom rim,just paint flakes actually.
