On the outside of the ring there is "Ger Rune" which stands for community spirit, the "Hakenkreuz" which was the pagan Germanic tribes symbol of Thor, God of Thunder, the "Heilszeichen" which embodies faith and was used as a symbol of its members loyalty and it also made an appearance at weddings.

1944 was the year when the German cause was lost, hope for the revenge faded and last honour rings were awarded to truly loyal people. Herr Octtlin was among them, as inscribed inside the ring. While all plans for a memorial in Austrian mountains faded forever and these were last rings to award, since in 1944 Germans stopped making them .

The ring size is 19,6mm or 9¾ (US standart).

The ring is pressed from pure silver according to all standards showing no maker marks, neither inside nor outside.
