Clear Fostoria Crystal Elegant Depression Glass Nappy in Century Pattern!


Fostoria Glass Century pattern nappy elegant Depression glass crystal handled dish. This is a little dish or nappy with one handle, and it is part of the Century pattern pieces from Fostoria glass. This little dish is about 4 7/8 inches in diameter, not counting the little handle, and slightly more than 1 1/2 inches tall.

This crystal dish is very clear glass, typical of Fostoria from the Elegant Depression Era. This piece has some fine scratches I can see with the magnifying glass, and a little flaw on the side where it was picked up with tongs while hot. It also has a long rub or skid on the side of the inside where something has rubbed against it. There are no chips or chunks, and the fragile little handle that is usually damaged is perfect on this one.

I do not know the age, but it was purchased on the secondary market, so it is not a new piece, of course.
