Czech Firepolish Beads are a highly labor intensive bead that
have been made for hundreds of years by Czech glass bead makers.
They are formed by pressing hot glass into a mold and then roughly
faceting it by hand or machine. The bead's surface is then slightly
melted to a red hot oven or kiln to "fire polish" it. This slightly
rounds off the edges giving it a better shine and luster
Luster - Durable, transparent, glossy color coating on glass
beads that is heat treated like a glaze. These coatings are usually
applied to a crystal or jet based bead; however there are limitless
combinations that are becoming increasingly popular. On light beads
a luster coating may add only a subtle hint of color, whereas dark
beads may have the complete opposite effect.

Back Orders/Out of Stock-
Occasionally, an item may be out of stock when listed as available
in the store. If an item is listed and on back order we will ship
it as soon as it is back in inventory. If the item is discontinued,

we may have simply counted wrong during inventory. If this should

Domestic Shipping is
generally $1.75 for the first item and .25 for each additional item
for first class mail, $5.50 for the first item and .50 cents for
each additional item for priority mail.
Canadian Shipments- $2.50 for the first item and .25 cents
for each additional.
International Shipments are $4.50 for the first item and .25
cents for each additional for first class international mail,
$13.00 for the first item and .50 cents for each additional for
international priority mail. International buyers please take note
that your country may impose custom's or VAT charges. These are
your responsibility. Unfortunately, we are no longer shipping to
Italy.
