Here for your consideration is a vintage Holly City Bottle Limited Edition Decanter entitled Spirit of 76. This decanter comes in the original box with paperwork as shown in the photos. I will also include a cork which fits the top but is not original to the bottle. The decanter measures in at 8 inches tall x not quite 6 inches wide x 2 inches deep. One side shows the 2 dummers and flute player with the flag flying in the background as well as a cannon and an old wheel. It says Spirit of 76 across the top. The other side shows the Liberty Bell in the center with an eagle on top, on the left is 1776 on the right is 1976, across the top it says Bicentennial and across the bottom it says United States of America. The bottom of the bottle is marked Holly City Bottle Handmade (numbered 7924) Millville, N.J. The color of the decanter is aqua or peacock blue and it is irridized. Paperwork is also marked with the same number that is on the bottom of the bottle. Box is in decent shape for its age, the top of the box does have a single split corner as well as showing minor wear to the other sides and corners. There is a price marked in ink on the inside styro that holds the decanter. Top of the box is marked with a copyright H75, so I presume this was manfactured in 1975.

As a bonus, I would like to include a amber irridized collectors plate which features an eagle in the center, 1776 - 1976 across the top, and the banner that the eagle is holding says United States on one side and Bicentennial on the other side. This plate measures in at 8 inches in diameter and is in excellent condition with no flaws to note. I know these plates were manfactured by several companies, however since this one is not marked I am unsure of maker. What a wonderful pair to add to your Bicentennial, Carnival glass or Decanter/Collectors Plate collection.
