Fine/Mint In A Dust Jacket

H(arold) Warner Munn (born November 5, 1903) was a U. S. author.  He is one of the fantasy writers associated wit H. P. Lovecraft and Weird Tales 1925-1939.  Munn has commented, "My first story stemmed from one of HPL's letters and we visited back and forth between my home in Athol Mass., and his in Providence, R. I., quite a bit.  His novel "At The Mountains Of Madness" was suggested by a story I wrote as a continuation of "Poe's Narrative Of Arthur Gordon Pym" and which I later destroyed because his story shaped up so much better than mine..."  Through Lovecraft, Munn met Tallman, Kirk and others living in New York.  After he married he drifted out of writing as a hobby because of the stress of supporting a family and building a home.  He resumed writing in the mid-1960's.
