Airline UX-280 Balloon Shape Rectifier Tube

You are bidding on a UX-280 GX-280 Balloon Shape etched base rectifier tube . This is marked Airline indicating it was made for Montgomery Wards radios which were the Airline brand. The base is brown in color.

This was tested on my calibrated TV-7/B tube tester. This tube has been tested for shorts and gas, and has a reading of 45/45. Minimum is 40.

All tubes are tested on my calibrated TV-7/B or on my calibrated Hickok 539C. All of these tubes have been tested for transconductance, shorts, gas, leakage and life. All tubes meet or exceed manufacturer published specifications of transconductance (Gm) for the specified tube type. All tests are tested twice - prior to the listing and prior to shipping.

Regarding Shipping

All tubes both boxed NOS and un-boxed are wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in a box. I have shipped thousands of tubes all over the world and have not yet had any arrive damaged.

Payment must be received with 10 days of the auction close. Foreign bidders are welcome to bid.

All tubes will be shipped by USPS priority mail in the USA and USPS air mail for international. Priority mail shipping with delivery confirmation is $8. Insurance is extra. International shipping by air mail is $14 in most cases (larger tubes may be more). I will combine auctions to save on shipping when possible.
