Weighing in at over 900g, with a height of approx 26cm, this beautiful creation has been hand-made from solid bronze.  

Modelled on The Children of the Hydra’s Teeth, the skeletal warriors from the all-time classic adventure film, ‘Jason and the Argonauts’ , 2 straining skeletons - arms outstretched above their skulls - are together holding aloft your solid bronze, spiked, candle burner!

You are getting a totally unique Item of exceptional quality.   Hand-crafted in a British armoury by a highly-skilled, time-served artisan, your Twin Skeletons Candle Burner is a beautiful piece of art for your daily use!

The entirely manual production of this incredibly intricate Item took one craftsperson 1½ 10-hour days to complete.   Its retail value is £450.

Manufacturing Process – Bronze Skeletons Candle Burner .   The Armoury made a first generation wax master of the skeletons, base, and burner in sections, ie, feet, heels, shoulders and collarbones, pelvises, rib cages, skulls, etc.   These were then finished in solid bronze and hot moulded.   Once set, the skeletons, base, and burner were ‘fettered’, ie, finished by hand, so that all welds and impurities were polished off.   Your skeletons were then ‘patinated’, ie, blackened with sulphur, and finally waxed.

All moulds were destroyed after your Twin Skeleton Candle Burner was made.   Although we have a few similar Items in our eBay Shop, there will only ever be this one in this exact style.

CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY

Your piece of art comes with a Certificate of Authenticity (CoA), originating from and signed by the artisan who made it.   As a legitimate CoA, it contains specific details about the art, such as when and how it was produced, the art's exact title and dimensions and it also includes his or her complete and current contact information.
