About the Show

Set in a peaceful Australian town, this story chronicles the childhood adventures of Roobear the koala and his friends. The cast of characters includes kangaroos, sugar gliders, dingoes, kiwis, and of course, koalas – with a few penguin foreigners tossed into the mix. Everyone gets along well with Roobear, except for Walter and his kangaroo brothers, who like to tease and play pranks on the other children. Nevertheless, each day brings new excitement to the town, and Roobear is always eager to participate. Whether it's solving local mysteries, promoting conservation of the environment, or earning extra allowance money, Roobear and his young friends make big accomplishments and learn many valuable lessons.

Adventures of the Little Koala first aired in Japan in 1984 under the name of Koala Boy Kokki. The animated series was dubbed into English and aired on Nickelodeon as part of the the Nick Jr. lineup from 1987-1993. It includes twenty-six full episodes, each of which is divided into two separate stories. Adventures of the Little Koala is always light and silly without being patronizing, and the characters are remarkably believable and loveable. This is a cartoon to be treasured by the young and young at heart.

About the DVDs

Adventures of the Little Koala is available in a set of four DVDs containing twenty-four episodes from the cartoon series and includes a professional DVD case featuring quality custom cover art and an episode list insert. Each DVD has menus with sound for easy selection of episodes, which have been conveniently put into chronological order. Adventures of the Little Koala is available for the very first time on DVD from the Stuff I Like Site only.

This set comes on DVD-R, which will play on almost all DVD players as well as a computer with a DVD-ROM drive and appropriate DVD-viewing software. I use only genuine top quality DVD-R media from Verbatim, Sony, or TDK for maximum quality and compatibility.

The quality is an eight to nine out of ten (see the screen capture links above for examples). This is the highest quality set available, and in fact, the only set available at this time. If you see another set like mine being sold elsewhere, you can bet they got it from me and made copies without permission. Make sure you get the authentic set right here from the source for guaranteed quality. I spent months capturing, digitally restoring, and converting the series to DVD format for the first time ever. This ensures quality every time you watch, unlike VHS tapes, which deteriorate over time.

Return Policy:
All discs are checked to be in perfect working condition before they are shipped, but in the unlikely event that any disc is damaged during shipping or not functioning properly, you may return the faulty disc(s) and I will replace them for free. Due to the nature of these discs (in that they can be copied relatively easily) and the fact that the price you pay is for time and materials, I do not issue refunds, only replacements.

If you do have any problems with the discs or need a replacement, I'm always available to help out and answer any questions you may have.
