Previously Viewed in good condition. Volume 43 contains the following four episodes: Episode 1, October 2, 1959 "Where is Everybody?": Earl Holliman stars as a man on the edge of hysteria in an oddly deserted town. This alternative version of the serie's premier episode, which sold the show, features a brief intro by Rod Serling and a different opening sequence and narrator. Episode 42, November 11, 1960 "The Eye of the Beholder" or "The Private World of Darkness": Outcast from society because of a hideous deformity, a troubled woman desperatly undergoes an operation to alter her appearance in this rarely seen, alternately titled version of the classic episode. Episode 36, July 1, 1960 "A World of His Own": Keenan Wynn is Gregory West, a noted playwright who discovers that he can make anything appear - or disappear - just by describing it...like his irritable wife or even Rod Serling. Episode 40, October 28, 1960: "A Thing About Machines": Mr. Bartlett Finchley despises any sort of machine, and he'll experience a new kind of terror when he soon learns that the feeling is mutual.
