1965  Blonde American Girl Barbie

A gorgeous all original doll with beautiful lemon lips.

Barbie's face make-up is near mint. Her hair is beautiful and clean. No missing hair plugs. Her fingernail polish is 100 %. Her legs do all clicks.

She is dressed in  the 1961 American Airlines Stewardess Outfit #984 which is complete. Outfit includes her original  - tailored navy cotton two piece suit jacket with silver medal wings on the lapel and navy sheath skirt, white nylon body blouse, navy hat with airline insignia,  black vinyl shoulder purse,  "American Airline logo" zippered flight bag  and repro black open toe heels. (all of which are in very nice condition!!!)

Also included - original gold stand, original one piece swimsuit (has a tiny white spot on front), repro turqouise mules, vintage Barbie booklet catalog (a couple of small tears on back cover), safe pearl earrings, vintage blue hanger and a plain display box.

In Kovel's 2003 Antique Guide this doll in the AA outfit was valued at $1645.00.

minor imperfections -  A teensy rub on right eyelash can be seen if you use a magnifier. She has a microdot on each hip. The bottoms of her feet have a very faint grey on them, looks like from shoes. Her left leg is secure, but slightly wobbly.

She is absolutely beautiful!!!
