Made of the same polyurethane foam that's used for Yoga mats, the Cats Rule Small Spaces Litter Mat measures 17" x 20" and has a non-skid backing. It's virtually indestructible and is easy to clean when accidents happen.
The mat has ridges that open the cats' paws to dislodge any trapped litter without hurting their feet. The ridges also contain the litter so it doesn't get scattered all over the floor.
This mat is the perfect size for an apartment dweller, and the matching screen keeps the box out of sight.
Functional, stable and durable, the tri-panel fabric covered screen is stain-resistant and easy-to-clean. It measures 36" wide by 21" high when fully open and reverses to a beautiful blue and white stripe.
One of my pet peeves as a cat sitter is the prickly "grass" litter mats, which must be very uncomfortable underfoot for the cats. The plastic grids that trap litter have to be uncomfortable, too, and must make using the box quite a chore.
