This is a very nice Rare saucer made in Occupied Japan by Trimont China. It is hand painted by an artist, and by looking at the floral sprays you can see this. There are four panels of a black net design on blue, with a scroll design on three sides. The scroll is also under the floral sprays, which surrounds the center flower spray. It has gold trimming on a nicely designed scalloped edge. This saucer is for a tea cup, and is in a large size. It appears that it has never been used for the lack of scratches, or wear in the center.

It was made between ca. 1945-1952

Condition: It is in great condition with only very had to find gold wear that can only be seen on very close inspection. It does have some wear on the blue, and black net panels. No chips, scratches, discoloration, repairs, or cracks.

Measurements:  Saucer is 6" across x 3/4" and in other areas 7/8" high.

Actual weight before packing is 5.8 oz. It will ship at 1lb.

I always use a new or good box plus plenty of bubble wrap, peanuts, and 2" packing tape. In my nearly 7 years of shipping I have not had a broken piece yet. But, Most of the handling depends on the postal carrier. I place fragile labels on the box to notify the carrier of the contents.

The insurance charge for this item is $ 1.70 and is not included in the stated shipping quote.
