Blue Comet 400E Steam Locomotive Lionel® Train

7th in the LIONEL® Train series.

The LIONEL® Company had the cooperation of the Jersey Central Railroad when building its 1930s replicas of the famous Blue Comet, the fast express train that ran from New York to Atlantic City. In remarkable detail, LIONEL® designers and engineers captured the long, low lines, the beauty of design, and the mechanical precisioneven the two-tone colorof the 400E. Proud LIONEL® owners bragged that this was the biggest, most powerful, most beautiful model locomotive ever built. This series of Keepsake Ornaments features a different legendary LIONEL® locomotive each year.
