Summary of My Selling Policies
Payment Please read these policies before bidding.

The first thing we want to say is that we believe communication is key to a successful transaction and Ebay experience. I encourage you to ask any questions you might have before you bid as possible, and during the process. The best way to reach us is through email, however our office phone number will be emailed to you once you successfully win an auction.

We accept all forms of Paypal payment for all of our auctions, credit cards, instant transfers, and echecks. We prefer echecks for large purchases because of reduced fees to us but we will accept all forms of payment through Paypal.

We will hold large checks for clearing before we ship. Please do not send cash unless sent by certified mail that requires signature confirmation, and please make sure that you use a return address and clearly indicate the item won as we have no means of contacting you if you send cash without identification.

In some situations, we will accept coins or other items of value as payment for an auction. However, please contact us before you bid to see if this is a possibility for the item that you are looking for.
Fees We charge 6% sales tax in PA only. Shipping and handling fees are listed in the auction. We will combine shipping for multiple orders and we will reduce shipping in some cases for larger orders. Our shipping charges posted in our auctions are geared toward the smaller customer, and if you are buying a large quanitity, you may overpay for shipping, which we will work with you to reduce in certain circumstances.

Please keep in mind that there may be a higher charge for shipping and handling than what is actually spent on the postage. Most of this is because we use a private insurance company to insure packages over $200 and this does not show up on the label. In addition, we pay for our labor costs and packaging costs out of shipping and handling.
Shipping We ship all packages worldwide unless otherwise noted in the auction. International shipping rates should be posted on the auction listing, please email us if you have any questions. We only ship via United States Postal Service. We will use Priority mail on packages over 13oz; for packages less than 13oz we use first class mail. We can use Express Mail but will require a surcharge. We put delivery confirmation on every package regardless of the weight. Insurance is handled through a private insurance company (U-PIC). (Please do not assume that we sent the package uninsured because you do not see USPS postal insurance on the package) Insurance is usually optional and may or may not be charged in the auction listing, please consult the listing for details.

If you have a question about the status of shipping, please email us as this is the as all of the records are stored in our database on our computer.
Delivery We normally ship every day unless we are away on a trip or at a convention. Occassionally there will be a delay in shipping, especially if you make a special request from us or if you place a large order and we want to get you the biggest variety possible among the coins we have for sale in the auction listings. All orders are shipped USPS with delivery confirmation. Orders that are more than $250 will receive signature confirmation as well. If you pay by Paypal we must keep signature confirmation on the order, we can only waive it if you pay by check or money order. Echecks are the same as regular checks, we will ship as soon as they clear. Larger orders may be split into two or more shipments.
Refunds & Returns We accept all returns within 30 days of delivery to you as noted on our delivery confirmation. If you need to return an item or exchange an item, please enclose a note with the return telling us if you'd like a refund or an exchange, and why you are returning it. The address to return it to will be the return address on the envelope or box you receive.

We reserve the right to charge a 10% restocking fee for all returns. We will waive this fee in certain situations, but cannot in the event that there is a delay in returning the item which prevents us from getting our Paypal and/or Ebay fees refunded for the transaction, if you return the majority or all of an entire lot, or if you do not supply a reason for a return. We like to avoid those who try to cherrypick through a large lot and pick out the most valuable coins and return the rest -- most of our auctions are not set up to do this and this is unfair to the majority of our customers.

Also, shipping and handling is non-refundable unless a gross error was made on our part where you receive a completely wrong item. For example, we will refund shipping if you order a Peace Dollar and you get a Walking Liberty Half.

The majority of our auctions are grab bag auctions where we list a particular type and grade of coins and you bid on the number of coins you want. We attempt to make as good of a representation of the grade of the coins in the auction as possible based on the wording in the auction. listing Often, the coin shown in the picture is an example of the type of coin and/or grade, and may or may not be actually available in the auction. While the vast majority of customers agree with our grade, you may be someone that doesn't. It's ok! We respect your opinion and want to make sure that you are happy. However, if you leave negative feedback for us you void your return privledge until the feedback is removed. (We will work with you if you work with us!)
Contact Me RULES FOR BEST OFFERS:

Our auctions are competitively priced and our markups are usually around 20% above our costs. Half of this goes to Ebay and Paypal to pay for fees and the other half puts food on our table and pays the mortgage.

If you submit an offer ABOVE my asking price, you will get a quality of coin better than what is described in the auction. It will either be a better grade or a tougher year or mint mark than what will normally be available. We will also be more able to grant special requests for tougher dates if you are paying more than the asking price.

If you submit an offer less than my asking price, but less than 20% off my asking price, the quality and selection of the coins available will be exactly as described in the auction. Our acceptance will depend on the popularity and availability of the particular item, your feedback, and what quantity you are offering to buy.

If you submit an offer 20% or below from my asking price, we may accept it, but the coins we will send may be be slightly worse than what is described in the auction, or will not have the same amount of variety for dates and mint marks that we would normally have for full price customers.

Please submit fair and reasonable offers. Submitting ridiculous offers will waste our time and yours, and we will respond usually with a reply from one of our pets, such as: "Tampa says PPPFFFTTT!!! to your offer!"
--------------

We have over 22,000 positive feedbacks and the vast majority of our customers are satisfied. Almost all problems that we have had are due to poor communication, or misunderstanding of auction terms. I encourage you to ask questions and read these policies and the auction descriptions before you bidding.
