This is a reproduction of a vintage pattern to make a blanket for baby's nursery crib from blocks featuring animals plus one design worked in filet crochet with cotton thread.

Each block measures about 9 1/2 inches. The blanket is made 5 blocks wide x 7 blocks long (47 1/2 x 67 1/2 inches).

Make it entirely of animals blocks or alternate these with fabric blocks or the design block. With these blocks, you could make matching pillows, curtain edgings or any other nursery item. Make the blocks large size or smaller by adjusting the thread size.
