Magic Green Thumb Snow  has a huge capacity to absorb water
and increase the ability of the soil to store water and nutrients around the root systems of your plants. The  polymers in the snow can repeatedly absorb and release moisture, depending on the soil conditions around them,  greatly reducing your plants ability to survive drought-like situations (like that vacation you want to take). 

When dry , this product resembles sugar crystals.  When wet, it resembles little, gelatinous ice cubes. Non-toxic and environmentally safe,  Magic Green Thumb Snow will last in the soil from 4 to 5 years before breaking down.

Magic Green Thumb Snow can increase the water holding capacity of sand by over 700%. A mixture of about 1 part hydrated snow to about 8 parts soil mix is appropriate for most container applications that will not be in direct sun. For a container located outside in direct sun where drying out is a constant risk, the 6 to 1 ratio is best.   Thoroughly mix the snow and soil.    Exceeding the recommended amounts may result in your plants being pushed right out of the soil as the overabundance of gel crystals absorb water and swell.

Absorption capacity of polymer gels can vary with the salinity, pH, and other variables of the soil.  Do not add lime to soil at the same time that you introduce Magic Green Thumb Snow into it.
