From Oprah Winfrey to Madonna to Prince to Liza Minnelli to Richard Pryor to Willie Nelson to MC Hammer & Vanilla Ice to Spike Lee to Elizabeth Taylor to Tom Cruise to Whitney Houston to Eddie Murphy to George Burns to Tupac to Celine Dion to Stevie Wonder to Diana Ross to Barry Manilow to James Brown to Sammy Davis, Jr.  to both Clintons (George & Bill) and many, many more... Arsenio was definitely ahead of his time with this talk show! He also put the R&B and Rap performers on late night TV for the 1st time ever!  You definitely didn't see Snoop Doggy Dogg or N.W.A. appearing on the Tonight Show!  Not only did he have all the major African American politcians, musicians, athletes, actors, etc he was also responsible for launching many people's careers.  Mariah Carey's 1st ever TV appearance was on his show!  Madonna loved doing the show and Michael Jackson even appeared and that was something he never did for anyone else.  Arsenio did NOT allow performers on his show to lip sync.  This caused a lot of controversy with a lot of artists who wouldn't be on his show because of that.  In fact, the first time the New Kids On The Block ever sang live on TV was on this show.   I am proud to call myself a BIG fan of this show and I am also proud to share my amazing collection with you!

I have approximately 1,000 FULL episodes recorded and can put the shows onto DVD.  I do not have every single episode but pretty close!  I started recording the show full time in June 1989 but was able to acquire shows from his first 6 months on the air from repeats (and Weekend Jams!). 

Keep in mind that these episodes were recorded on video tape (obviously) almost 20 years ago so they are not the best quality.  But on the other hand, these are shows that will never see the light of day again!  I did use a high quality tape and most episodes are good quality.  Some may have tracking issues periodically but that's what happens with videotapes and good ol' analog TV broadcast! Because of that, I cannot guarantee the quality of the episode(s) you might be interested in.  Please buy at your own risk and know that there are NO refunds for quality issues (sound or video).  Check out the comments that previous buyers have left.  Most have been VERY pleasantly surprised with the quality!  To preserve the quality, I will only record a maximum of 2 episodes per DVD.  But, if for some reason the DVD does not play on your player, I will make another copy for you if you send back the original within 7 days.

So it's perfectly clear, I am definitely NOT charging for the content but rather soley for my time and the costs for materials and shipping.

I am offering these DVD's at a very reasonable price of  $16.00 per episode for other collector's out there who have wanted to either re-experience or experience for the 1st time some of the most amazing guests on one of the most amazing late night talk shows ever!

Keep in mind that I have to do the recording transfer in real time from the actual video tape.  Each episode is transferred to a hard drive for editing and mastering with a menu to DVD -R.  Then I will print in color your label (see sample picture above). This is a time consuming process.  In most cases, I can get your order in the mail within 1 week.  I will email you when the DVD has been mailed out.

**Unfortunately due to time constraints, I am not able to just edit out specific segments of a show or research for you what song was sung or what was talked about in an interview.  I do have dates for shows from 6/89 to when the show ended in 1994.  If you would like to know specific dates, please ask a question via iOffer.
