I said slightly used or mint as these set are not used but in the curio passed on to me by late uncle who lived in Japan. There are a plate and 2 bowls: l. a nice handpainted floral print with l" nice raised rope basket design at the edge (like the bowls)and all on very edge of the plate and bowls are painted green. The 7 3/4" plate has marking at the back "YAMAKA Cellina poppy SY-6991 oven to table to dishasher safe for microwave oven, Japan". 2. The bowls are 6 3/4" diameter 2" high, both marked at the back "YAMAKA, Cellina, Japan". It was a set of three, used for Japanese soup for two and the plate for any cookies or snacks to share. These are vintage collectibles and in very great shape, unique and rare. Simply beautiful quality pieces.
