Description


2 Japanese  vintage postcards.  Black and white photo cards.

Miyako Hotel, Kyoto, Japan.  Postmarked to England.  2 cancels. The Japan one is very hard to read. The GB one is Sevenoaks, Dec 24, 1909.  2 green 2 yen stamps.  Note in margin on front and dated Dec 2, 1909. This has a fold in the middle of it and light edge bumps.

Grand Torii,  Miyajima. Shrine gate in Hiroshima, Japan.  Shrine on the lake with mountain and buildings in the background.  Boat with a couple of men in it under the gate. Postmarked  Yokohama 41.10.11. Or possibly 4.10.11, but that does not seem correct. Red 4 Sn stamp. Mild wear. Has perforated edge and white border.

Condition:  Good. Both are postmarked.
