AMERICAN GOLD EAGLE
The original Gold "Eagle" coins were the first gold coins produced in America, and were originally minted by the United States Mint in 1795. Over 200 years later, the American Gold Eagle Coins are still being produced by the U.S. mint with the same high quality and beauty. These 2011 $50 American Gold Eagles have the certified grade of MS 70, which is the highest grade possible - pure perfection.
The United States Mint first released the modern American Gold Eagle coin in 1986, and it's the first gold bullion coin authorized by the United States Congress. It's guaranteed by the U.S. Mint for its weight, content, and purity.
Originally designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens, the American Gold Eagle features Lady Liberty carrying a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The rising sun and the United States Capital dome are in the background. It bears the "Liberty" inscription, along with the date of issue and individual mint mark of origin. The reverse side of the Gold Eagle coin shows a male bald eagle holding an olive branch, flying toward a nest containing his mate and their two eaglets.

You can use Dendritics or Kitco for all Metal Values use the above weights to compare prices for your bidding

This means the gold plating is 100 millionths of an inch thick (1/10,000th). For Example. 1 cubic inch of gold is 316.598 grams. 1/10,000 of that number will give us the weight of gold over 1 square inch 100mils deep. 0.031 grams. 1 KG of copper is 7 cubic inches. A 7' x 1' x 1' bar has a surface area of 30 square inches. 30 multiplied by 0.031g will give you the weight of gold plating the 1 KG bar of copper to 100 mils. The answer is 0.93 grams or 0.093% in weight. So .93 grams is probably most accurate.
