I have collected toy rings for most of his life and has a collection of about 500,000+ rings in about 4,000+ different designs. Proof and prototype toys, sports cards, and eventually rings has yielded one of the most unique collections of vintage collectibles ever assembled by one person. These were made by the designer for possible second edition made in this base metal for adults but ELVIN was NOT interested in these and so the designer made a few for just a select group of collectors and toy enthusiasts. Same designer did the 1970s Metal Skull rings that also sold in box sets.

In 1997 when the 3rd edition Toy Ring price guide came out, it showed the very hard to find box of 1960s Horror Rings in original box. I have one of these rare boxes stored in a showcase in my libarary.

You are NOT bidding on one of the rings from this box since it is a complete collection and it would be crazy to break the set for just a $10 purchase! BUT, you ARE getting something MORE rare and even more collectible; a vintage SKULL metal ring. Designed and hand made by the original designer who designed the Elvin rings for kids. These metal rings are VERY HARD to find. I have adult men(10-12) sizes and children/women sizes (5-7). No way to measure them very quickly but I can estimate the ring size if you have an exact size you need. The original box set was booking for $170 in in 1997 and estimated value now with the growth in toy ring collector's and such and the rarity of these rings makes the box worth roughly $425.00!!!

Measures about 1 inch tall or slightly smaller (face). Some of the gems are straight-on and some are cock-eyed and looking off somewhere else. Years ago I use to sell tons of old toys and old documents and since have been too busy as a professional photographer in the media industry to come back to it. Time again to sell my inventory of great novelty and Cracker Jack toys from the 1920â€™s through the 1970â€™s. Living in Columbus gave me the chance in the late 1990â€™s to acquire many original Cracker Jack items from a Borden warehouse. I have a small warehouse full of cool and/or unusual items and so these items have been kept dry and clean and in a smoke-free environment for years.

US & CANADA SHIPPING
I only use the US Mail unless you make arrangements with me in advance of the end of the auction and we work things out. If you wish to buy hundreds of items then we can work something out. Shipping is $3.50 for the first auction, then $1.00 per additional auction up to a maximum shipping of $8.00. I will not ship to anywhere other than the U.S. and Canada. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I will pack your item(s) very carefully to ensure that you get your won item(s) in the condition won. Some items are shipped in a small padded box within a Jiffy #2 self-sealing padded envelope for maximum protection. Some items are shipped within a US post office priority box or envelope at my discretion.
