Item Description
1930s/1940s Hubley Cap Toy Gun

Hubley was from Lancaster, Pennsylvania
and started in 1894. The Hubley Company made some of the finest Cap
Guns. The Texans and the Cowboy were especially popular. They made
guns with nice scrollwork and some that were gold. They are still
considered very valuable collector's items

This antique metal cap gun has good
trigger action with the classic popping; the trigger is a bit loose
and needs to be tightened

The gun needs a good cleaning and
oiling, one of the fasteners in the handle is dented so the two
sides of the gun do not meet up and there are some vintage marks in
the barrel of the gun

Gun measures 6 1/4 inches long

It is marked with the Hubley red star
which is faded with age and “HUB”
