1930's advertising  letter opener from the offices of Clarence O'Brien, registered patent attorney in Washington D.C.

        Advertising letter opener from the 1930's.  It is 8" long and appears to be made of copper.  Has the following information engraved on it;  

On front side

WASHINGTON, D.C.

On back side

        It has a shield with what appears to be the Capitol building on the top of it, and his initials inside the shield.  The letter opener has been used, and has some waviness to the tapered section, also scratches from use.  It is in good condition otherwise, but needs polished, which I will let the buyer do.  Please refer to the pictures for more information.
