Item Description
1600 Pennsylvania Avenue opened on Broadway on
May 4th, 1976 and closed after only 7 performances on May 8th. The
music was by Leonard Bernstein and the lyrics and book were by Alan
Jay Lerner. The show starred Ken Howard and Patricia
Routledge (Hyacinth from Keeping Up Appearances). This is the
complete show recorded live and although not studio produced discs,
the quality is excellent.
