Alfred Meakin Water Jug

This is a wonderful Alfred Meakin, Royal Ironstone China, Water Jug.  Done in a pale blue with off white this is a lovely accent piece for any home.  There is also gold gilt around the lip, handle and a ribbon of gold dots before the jug flares out.  There is one small blemish on this piece which is difficult to describe, one could say it is a crack but it does not go through to the other side.  It has not been broken and glued back in but it could have been banged against something or something else might of hit it and resulted in this minor blemish. 

I always do my best to describe items accurately, but I am not an expert and attributes, at times, I'm sure might not be correct. Purchaser agrees and understands that items sold are "as is", with no warranty made or implied as to authenticity of said item. Except for cropping, I do not change pictures.
