Though unlikely heroes, loveable chipmunks Chip and Dale
continually proved themselves perfectly suited to solving crimes in
the animated series CHIP N'DALE RESCUE RANGERS. Premiering on the
Disney Channel in 1989, RESCUE RANGERS became an after-school
favorite of young viewers in the years that followed. The show
revolved around two chipmunks' jobs for a secret international
crime-solving organization. Assigned to cases the police deem too
petty and insignificant to bother with themselves, Chip and Dale
find a way to turn each job into a full-blown adventure. With other
likeable characters like chubby cheese-addicted mouse Monterey
Jack, female mouse Gadget Hackwrench, and blue fly Zipper on their
sides, the Rescue Rangers try to put their enemies Fat Cat and
Professor Nimbul to shame. Between Nimbul's ever-evolving plans for
taking over the universe, to Fat Cat's relentless attempts at
revenge, Chip, Dale, and their team of furry allies have got their
