6 EASY STEPS TO ORDERING A CUSTOM LACE WIG !
STEP 1: TAKE
YOUR HEAD MEASURMENTS
For the most accurate results secure your hair in the manner
it will be under your wig.
Typically most women either braid their hair straight back in
cornrow, or wrap it flatly. Be sure to take your measurements a few
times for accuracy.
Use a fabric measuring tape for the best
results.
Use our stock wig measurements as a guide if you are unsure
of the accuracy.

STEP 2 : CHOOSE A LACE
COLOR
How to Choose your Lace
Color
The correct process to choose your lace color for a custom
wig is to match the lace to your scalp complexion not your skin
color. Please follow the examples below for a guideline for
choosing your lace color.
Transparent: For White, Off White,or Cream
scalp tones similar to Jessica Simpson
Light : For Light Beige or Beige scalp tones
similar to Ciara or JLO
Light Brown: For Light Brown scalp tones
similar to Beyonce
Brown: For Dark Brown scalp tones
similar to Oprah.
STEP 3 : CHOOSE THE
DENSITY
While customizing your full lace or lace front wig it is very
important to choose the right density to allow for the most natural
look.
Hair density
refers to how thick the hair is. The hair density that
you order is really based on personal choice and what looks best on
you. Most women achieve a natural appearance with light to medium
or medium density; however, your choice will depend on your styling
preferences and individual profile.
Light
Density:
This density is 60% thickness of an average head of hair.
It is recommended for people whose natural hair does not have much
volume or thickness. Light density on a lace front or full lace wig
shows a fair amount of scalp. This density is popular with elderly
women. This is a good choice for African American Texture wigs
because the hair is thicker with that texture.
* Light to Medium:
This density is 100% thickness of an average head of
hair. This is the most popular density requested for custom lace
front and full lace wigs. It means that the lace front or full lace
wig will have light density at the hairline and medium density
every where else. This density is suitable for most women.
We recommend this texture for most wigs.
Heavy:
This density is 150% thickness of an average head of
hair. This density is usually worn by performers in theatre, and it
is not recommended for a person looking for a natural look in a
lace front or full lace wig.
STEP 4 : CHOOSE LACE
TYPE
French Lace
*recommended option
French lace is a strong material used at the front edge of a
hairpiece in combination with bleached knots to give and extremely
undetectable look. French lace is less fragile and typically offers
the most long lasting lace wig.
Swiss Lace
Swiss Lace is more fragile than French lace which affords a
slightly more undetectable appearance. However, it is very delicate
and needs to be handed with care.
STEP 5: CHOOSE HAIR COLOR
AND/OR HILIGHTS
HILIGHT CHART
If you would like highlights distributed in a certain place,
please use our chart to identify the areas in the comment section.
STEP 6- CHOOSE CAP
CONSTRUCTION
The most important factor in deciding your cap construction
is whether you plan to wear your wig in an updo or ponytail? If so
you will want to choose a Full lace cap style. If not, you
may opt for a lace front wig.
Cap Constructions
Available:
Full lace -No stretch panel.- Best option for most
natural appearance. Hair can be parted anywhere for a flawless
hairline. Best option for ladies with no hair.
Full Lace without stretch-An option for a
woman planning on growing her hair underneath. This cap allows for
a wig to be worn while hair is growing back because it can expand
as the hair thickens.
Lace Front Wig with stretch material at back of
head- This cap is for a woman who
doesn’t plan on wearing her hair up in a
ponytail. Some ladies prefer to focus on the hairline and would
rather have the back sewn down onto a braid.
