Robert Duvall stars as General Dwight D. Eisenhower
in this biography, which focuses on his career in the military
during World War II as he helped to guide Allied forces to victory.
Along with Eisenhower's military exploits and political
aspirations, Ike: The War Years also offers a perspective on his
personal life, in particular his relationship with Kay Summersby
(Lee Remick), the driver who later claimed to have had a long-term
romantic relationship with him.
This is a
NTSC copy (USA),
of the official 2-DVD release in Australia, which is the
only rele
ase of this mini-series on DVD, but the Australia
release is in the PAL format, Region 4 which is not playable in US
players.
For the best quality, I only put 1 episodes per DVD,
making it a 3 discs set, recorded at the flexible speed, faster
than 2-hour speed (SP), thereby using the complete disc, for the
time allotted, thereby getting the exact same quality as the
originals, discs comes in DVD window paper sleeves, without labels
or artwork, because the label can cause the disc to play improperly
over time, all of my DVDs are in the DVD-R, NTSC format, so please
make sure, your player will play them.

collector-to-collector basics only, to share in the enjoyment of
this 70s mini-series.
