This auction is for a Rare, World War ll German Dagger. This is the SA Dagger that was worn by Hitlers Storm Troopers. It is also one of the very early, pre RZM Daggers, that are so desireable. I love these early Daggers, the workmanship, quality of materials, etc. were just so much better than the later made RZM Daggers. It is maker marked, Gebr. Heller. The blade on this dagger is beautiful, as nice as you will find. It also has the original hanger. The Cross Guards are nickel, not the cheap plated type, and the lower one is marked Th. The cross guards and the nickel fittings have taken on a goldish appearance from age, giving this dagger the look that can't be duplicated. The scabbard is anodized rather than painted. The Dagger fits the Scabbard perfectly, and the handle to the Cross Guards fit is also very nice. I don't believe this dagger has ever been apart. I could take some semi-chrome to it, but I won't. Some collectors prefer these unmolsted daggers that have not been messed with. These early Daggers are a great investment, and are getting very hard to find.  The big dealers are asking $1200.00 and up for these early pre RZM pieces. I will consider offers of over $600.00. Please don't waste my time or yours with lower offers, they will be deleted. If you've been thinking of buying a SA Dagger, spend a couple hundred more a buy an early one, you won't regret it.
