This auction is for a CD with
instructions on building a several micro-turbines producing 11, 20,
28 Lbs of thrust. These turbines are perfect for R/C projects or
small aircraft. Great project for a beginner, the CD contains 3D
CAD ready for a CNC lathe. Lots of pictures including 3D
sectionals. Full set of instructions, parts list...
Originally developed by the Steyr College in Austria in 2002. By a team lead by world reknown Prof. DI Paulus Stockinger. Design was based on already proven concept. Read my special report at the bottom. 
The latest version of this CD
contains both AutoCad DWG files and Catia Versions (VR wire and
solid models).

More Megabytes, more files... Also the 3D model is in it's own folder but is part of JetDwg set... Altogether there's 37 files. 
3D model you can manipulate the parts in any vector This animation was done with free AutoCad (dwg) viewer. A link is provided for the download. The following 3D models are all Catia standard files. 
With Catia you can; change colors!

3D Catia model of combustion chamber. Sectioned off 3/4 for easier viewing. These are full screen-shots and have been downgraded for easier viewing. Some of the quality has been lost during the process. These graphics were done with free software included with the CD! 
Updated September 14, 2008! Electric Starter! Finite Element Analysis! Running your new turbine without an electric starter may cause thermal shock. Thermal shock occurs when a turbine is shut down. Without the cooling effect of air and fuel parts can become deformed due to softening of metal and expansion. In time this will ruin your new turbine. This can be avoided by running an electric starter a few minutes after shutting down. This will cool off the internal parts bringing the metal to it's hardened state and keeping expansion minimal. Build your own for only a few dollars! I'll show you how!
