This is a very handsome 40 row breastplate ~
typical of the style worn by the Plains people in the 19th century!

This beautiful handmade breastplate is made with
80 of the finest 3 " buffalo bone hair pipe available!

Over 500 dark blue, black and ivory white glass crow beads are used,
with soft leather finge down each side!

There are 3 beautiful 1 1/2" shell disks across the top,
with cowrie shell and brass bead drop downs.

There is plenty of gold glove tan leather for neck and waist ties

This unique one-of-a-kind breastplate is made for years of dance and Pow Wow wear!

It would also be a great display and conversation piece.

This fine item is traditionally crafted by Ric Wanbli descended from the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation . Using the finest materials available in a traditional way.The Sioux Valley Dakota Nation is a First Nations from Canada . The U.S. Federal Government has laws that does not recognize First Nations People of Canada as " Indians" so i am required to state that this is a reproduction .
