Vintage German Brown Onion Canister Set

This is a nice Brown Onion four piece canister set from Eastern Germany.

These all have the crossed arrow mark from East Germany. This set includes flour, sugar, coffee and tea canisters.

  • The largest canister in the set is the flour canister and measures about 10.75" tall with the lid and 8 1/8" tall without the lid. The canister is in good condition except for some slight crazing but not all over, and the lid has one large chip on the rim but no cracks.
  • The sugar canister is in great condition, without any cracks, chips, nicks, or crazing. Measures about 9.25" tall with lid and about 7 1/8" tall without the lid.
  • The coffee canister is in good condition but the lid has been broken and reglued together . There is a large part of the inside rim missing (as in the picture). This measures about 7.5" tall with lid and about 5 7/8" tall without the lid.
  • The tea canister is in good condition, except the lid has two small chips on the top edge. This measures about 6" tall with the lid and about 4.5" tall without the lid.

This is a nice Brown Onion set to add to a collection! Sold AS IS!

#1 is the flour canister lid with a chip showing on the bottom.

#2 is the cracked and glued sugar canister lid.
