There are hundreds of new ebay sellers today that
are trying to
steal from you - the innocent buyer - by selling
FAKE mp3/mp4 players and phones. The mp3
players/phones they sell will appear to be the advertised memory
(such as 4GB/8gb), however, they will only be able to hold 1 or 2GB
of songs and information. It's impossible that another seller can
afford to sell a true 4GB phone at $100 price without losing money,
since we basically ALL purchase from the same suppliers in
China. Same goes for 8 GB phones.

Our Highlighted KAO8 Phone Review
The phone which I will cover in this article is
sometimes called the KA08 i68 or the mini i68+ or i9. No matter
what you call it, there are some cool features and differences that
define this phone. I'll go over some of the more popular ones
in the following article.
Teeny Tiny: Compared to the i9+ and i68+,
this phone looks miniature. It weighs only 68 grams and is
about the size of a credit card. Still, it has most all of
the features packed inside. It is quad band, still manages
two sim cards, and has MP3/MP4, Bluetooth 2.0, WAP, digital camera
/ web cam, FM radio, etc.
Extremely Colorful: It used to be that a white,
red, or gold phones were considered a novelty. The KA08 comes
in a rainbow of colors including some new ones like hot pink, light
pastel pink, light blue, and lime green. There is a lot more
customization available here and these are not skins or face plates
but the actual color of the phone.
The KA08 Phone Can Read Your SMS Messages To You:
One very cool thing about this phone is that it can read (in
English or Chinese) your SMS messages or texts. This smart
phone knows over 3000 words so most messages will not be a problem.
Of course, the voice isn't yours, but if you're in a hurry or don't
want to look down, this is pretty cool.
Upgrades: In addition to reading the SMS, this
phone does have a slightly upgraded camera (2.0 MP.) It's also a
shake and tilt model. It has a to do list and is hands free
is you want it to be. You can send group messages. You
can edit photos, design your own ring tones, and use up to 8GB of
video.
Standbys: Not much has been taken away from this
line up. This phone is very much like the i68 or the i9, only
on a smaller scale. It still has the dual sim standby. It's
still quad band. It still surfs the web via WAP or
GPRS. There is still handwriting recognition and video
recording. You still have your media players and Bluetooth
and FM radio. The only exception that is missing is Java
support.
Basically, they've taken the i9, added the reading
SMS feature, upgraded the camera slightly, came up with more
colors, and shrunk the size way down. This is also still a
GSM phone. I actually saw one seller claim that it would work with
tracphone and virgin mobile, but I'm not sure of that. Virgin
mobile is not GSM technology. Sure bets though are AT&T,
T Mobile, Rogers, Fido, and Cingular.
This phone is your typical CECT with the finger
touch and loud speakers that we've come to expect. Other than
the lack of Java, it's a really nice phone, especially if size (or
lack thereof) matters.
