Drama in which Jerry Lipman, a wealthy man from New York discovers he has leukaemia. This leads to his mother revealing that she is not actually his birth mother and that he was adopted, in order for him to try and find his biological family in England which may lead to a match for a bone marrow transfusion. He travels to a council estate in Liverpool to find his family and he is welcomed by his real mother who is glad to be reunited with her son.
