I think the fact that it was filmed instead of videotaped really helps. The music is great and the Italian crowd (mostly men) seems to really get off on the talking heads funk (as did I.) Adrian Belew is fantastic (I saw him with Zappa and King Crimson.) Cons: No Chapter screen to pick individual songs (DVD starts right up upon insertion) and the chapters aren't marked correctly......1. Psycho Killer, 2. Stay Hungry, 3. Cities, 4. Izimbra, 5. THE DOORS 1 DVD DENMARK 1968....27 minutes....crystal..rare..HIGHLY RECOMMENDED...MUST HAVE FOR FANS... 1 DVD SOFT PARADE 45 minutes..from vh1 broadcast...excellent picture and great footage of them live and on tour..behind the scene's ...all sorts of cool stuff..out of print...here is a review from a fan from imbd.. This documentary is so awesome because it does so very well at showcasing Jim Morrison and his legendary band The Doors at their absolute best with their last televised performance in 1969. It also has an excellent, fun look into their private archives as well as very interesting and insightful interviews. It is in this documentary that you get an awesome look at The Doors as entertainers and as real people. If you're a fan, then this one is most definitely for you. 1 DVD LIVE RARITIES COMPILATION 1967-70 120 minutes various tv and live appearances from usa and europe....most of these clips are excellent quality...REAL CLASSIC STUFF1 DVD STORYTELLERS..75 minutes...crystal clear...THIS IS REALLY GREAT..doors songs sung by various modern rock stars like perry farrell from janes addiction, pat monahan from train, travis meek from days of the new...scott weiland from stone temple pilots...scott strapp from creed and ian astbury from the cult (who joined the band for a latter tour). 1 DVD DOORS OF THE 21ST CENTURY..100 minutes...crystal clear... with ian astbury from the cult singing for the whole show...THIS IS ALSO EXCELLENT...

Tequila Sunrise, (72:20)...Two things you might find a little interesting: 1) "How Long": they just did this one on their latest CD, "Long Road Out Of Eden". Frey's kids saw an old video of them doing this song in the 70's and showed it to him; he'd forgotten all about it but reminded the other band members and that's why they put it on the new CD. But here it is at this gig from '73, kinda cool. And 2) "Silver Dagger" took me a while to find. It's an old folk song written around 1900. According to Wikipedia, "The Eagles usually prefaced "Take It Easy" with an acappella verse of "Silver Dagger" in the early 1970's", but Joan Baez is the one who's made it the most famous.
