This is a reproduction made in the same way that the original ones were made in the back alleys of Saigon. These Special Forces badges were never official and not worn when the old man was around but prized by the men. This badge is 1 1/2 inches wide and has two clutch backs and is stamped 925 which is the designation of sterling as was done in Vietnam and Gold Plated for the Marines

"Wonderful Item that is better in person than viewed on line, I'd suggest images that can be enlarged to view. My grand father served as a S1C in squadron (Ron5) aboard PT108, one of the few MTB's to go through the entire war intact only to be purposely destroyed by fire with other PT's on 11 Nov 1945."
