Seller Help

Listing on iOffer is free, so list as many items as you want. You're only charged a small percentage of the total transaction price after your items are sold. Manage all selling activities under My iOffer > Selling.

 

How to Sell

List a Single Item List a Single Item - Select an appropriate category and subcategory. Enter a title, description, keywords, pictures, asking price, and shipping charge.

List Multiple Items List Multiple Items - List multiple items at once by creating and uploading a comma separated values (.csv) file from spreadsheet applications like Microsoft Excel. Make sure you use the correct headers when creating the file.

Transfer Your Items Transfer Your Items - Keep your hard-earned reputation by transferring your items and feedback rating from other selling sites. Your items and feedback rating on these sites will not be affected in any way.


Note: It may take up to 24 - 48 hours for your items to appear in your store.

Invoice

When one of your items are sold, send an invoice to the buyer from My iOffer > Selling > Items Sold, unless you selected the auto-invoice option in your Selling Preferences.

Rating

After payment is received, ship the item the leave a feedback rating for the buyer. Ratings build your reputation and helps prospective buyers make informed buying decisions.

 

Selling Tips

  • Read the Seller Safety Guide
  • Review the Fees & Credit Policy to understand all seller fees.
  • New to selling? Try buying some items first to learn from other sellers. This is also a great way to build your seller rating and connections.
  • Describe item condition completely and honestly. Use all 55 characters available for the item title. Include specific and relevant keywords for search optimization.
  • Respond promptly to all questions and offers. Answer questions with an offer to close the sale.
  • Counter an offer instead of declining. Don't lose a sale; keep the negotiation going.
  • Send buyer invoices within 3 business days of an offer acceptance or item purchase.
  • Shipping is important. Include reasonable handling charges. Pack carefully and ship promptly. Provide tracking and insurance for high value items, including the estimated arrival date.
  • Encourage bundle offers. Keep your store inventory stocked, especially with items in the same category.

 

Selling Features

  • Free Photos - Add as many as you want to enhance your item listings.
  • Non-Paying Buyer - Available after 21 days but not over 45 days, with 2 invoices sent. Otherwise, give the buyer an adequate amount of time to pay for a purchase.
  • Fixed Shipping Cost / Auto-Invoice - Speed up the checkout process. Let buyers pay immediately after these updates in your Selling Preferences.
  • Store / Policies - Customize your store. Provide store, tax, and return policies. Advertise sale items.
