How does the phone verification work?
To protect our buyers and reduce fraudulent activities across the site, iOffer requires account verification in certain situations. Phone verification helps iOffer validate you as a seller.
If you're asked to phone verify your account, please enter a valid phone number that you can be reached at on the screen similar to the one shown below. Choose your desired language and you will receive a phone call or SMS text message momentarily.
If you chose to receive a voice call, listen carefully for your 3-digit PIN. Enter your PIN on the next page similar to the one shown below:
Trouble verifying your account?
- Please ensure that you enter a valid mobile or land-line number (NOT VOIP). Double-check your phone number before you click 'Call my phone with verification code'. You will only get a limited number of tries to enter a valid phone number before your verification process fails.
- You MUST answer the phone call to receive your 3-digit PIN.
- Listen carefully for your PIN. You will only get a limited number of tries to enter your PIN before your verification process fails.
- If you choose the SMS text message option, make sure your phone supports SMS text messages.
All of the above requirements MUST be completed to verify your account.
