Synopsis: Jenny Harris, 9 years old, feels lost and abandoned. Her mother left, now her father has 'dumped' her
with her Auntie Bea. When Bee is away, Jenny and her young cousin Joe are left to the taunts of Joe's older sister
Angela,  Fascinated by the book Peter Pan, they leave notes for Peter in a statue in Kensington Park. An elderly actress, who is facing eviction from her flat, answers the notes - and advises the children to stay at home.  But they run away. The conclusion of the film is both touching and thought-provoking. This family film has lessons about growing up and responsibility. Petula Clark and John Castle head the cast, with veteran actresses Cathleen Nesbitt and Anne Seymour in support. The film was produced by actress Diane Baker.  British, made in 1980, the film runs 86 minutes.

The disc contains bonus information of cast & credits, production notes, and cast notes, including excerpts from a recent interview with actress Heather Miller, who played Jenny. This film was released theatrically in the UK for a short period of time, and had a short run on HBO.  It has never been released commercially, and is believed to be in the public domain. This copy was taken from a VHS tape in a private collection, digitized, and comes with full colour artwork. Please see the images for quality. It has bonus information frames about the cast and production.
